P.Osh

My mom came back from her facial appointment somewhere near dhoby ghaut. The first thing she said when she returned was " I bought food!". And the very first thing i noticed was the simple yet charming paper bag, black but attractive.

The packaging was gorgeous and it made me wonder what lies beneath. Due to my less frequent visits to dhoby ghaut, i've never once encountered this shop. When I lift open the cover, it took my breath away.

One look at these brownies and you'll want to sink your teeth in them. However, if you're wondering if the quality is up to standard in comparison to the colourful and appealing designs. Well, you're not about to be disappointed!

For those who're afraid of putting on pounds, this would be a healthier choice for a dessert! Acoording to its website, P.Osh has

From Left to Right, according to the 4th picture:

Trip Earle C. (dark, milk, and white chocolate)
"He has switched lines many times, and they simply love him wherever he goes. Jack of all trades, yet master of all. No surprise, he is everybody's favourite dude." $3/brownie

Chocolate brownie with a mix of three main kinds of chocolate, you can't get more chocolatey than that! however, don't worry, it does not taste as sweet as it sounds! and the moment you get a bite of it, the moist and soft brownie will be too delicious to put down!

Jelly P. Butter (peanut butter and jelly)
"Boys never know what she's thinking. She knows when to be smooth, and when to give that little burst of acid. Well, somehow, it keeps them coming back for more." $2.70/brownie

Since young, I've always wondered what peanut butter and jelly tasted like after watching numerous family movies where the child spreads peanut butter and jelly on the bread. You'll need to try this one out for yourself! Peanut butter and jelly evenly lined on the brownie.

Em Ann M. (M&M'S)
"They call her the modern day Pied Piper. Children flock to her and cannot bear to leave. She is colourful and pretty, and it is truly a fairy tale to see her following of children." $2.80/brownie

This was the very first brownie that caught my eye. Firstly, it's colourful. Secondly, it might actually be because it's in the middle. However, I didn't get a chance to try this as everyone got to it before i did. But my friend reviewed it and said it was great! She loved the colourful sprinkles and m&m's, not forgetting the brownie itself. One of the best she's ever tried. This will definitely be a hit with children.

White C. Choc (curls on white chocolate)
"She looks pure and peaceful in white. Especially when she curls up to sleep beside mummy. A long day for a little girl." $2.90/brownie

The white chocolate compliments the brownie quite well. Though i'm not a big fan of white chocolate, this was rather good. A great choice for white chocolate lovers.

Wal Nutt B. (triple chocolate on walnuts)
"To some, he opens up and cracks nutty jokes. To others, it is hard to get past the wall to really know him. He likes to think those are the little light and dark sides he chooses to show them." $3/brownie

This was my favourite! The walnut brought out the taste of the brownie. Though I do love desserts a lot, I've always dislike overly sweet ones. This walnut brownie was just nice. The brownie was not extremely sweet but just right and the walnut was a great topping for it, plus the triple chocolate spread on the walnuts boost this brownie to my favourite.

Brownies are sinful chocolatey desserts? Well, which dessert isn't sinful? Why not choose one that's less sinful but boost your spirits at the same time. Just remember to watch how many pieces you're eating! Great food is a gift, don't deny yourself of it.
